Esquipulas habitat is a combination of several ecosystems such as primary and secondary forest, house gardens and cattle pastures. This makes the Esquipulas area to host a very high variety of birds including Tanagers, Trogons, Hummingbirds, Flycatchers, Manakins, and Toucans among many others.
