Mangrove Kayak Tour

About this tour

Our mangrove kayak tour takes place in the impressive estuary of the Paquita River. Located approximately 1 hour from Jaco Beach. This is a superior tour to observe wildlife. On this tour you will combine adventure with nature, as you will observe various species of wildlife and learn from your naturalist guide. The mangrove is full of animals and it is extremely calm and relaxing because there is absolutely no one in this place except for the few boats and kayaks that enter to operate this memorable tour.

The mangrove ecosystem is one of the most impressive tropical forest habitats in the world. It is a habitat that is home to a large amount of wildlife due to the natural conditions of the ecosystem, such as white-faced monkeys, anteaters, boas constrictors, iguanas, crocodiles, turtles, crabs, countless species of birds and much more. ...

Our tour begins with pickup from your hotel in the Jaco area, during transportation your tour guide will give you explanations about the tour and will also inform you about important facts of the local history of our town. Once we get to the river, we board the kayaks to paddle through this incredible ecosystem for a nature trip of about 2 hours. At the end of the tour we will take you to a typical restaurant for a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch.
