Manuel Antonio National Park is a small biological island. It was established in 1972 by the Costa Rican government who wanted to preserve the countries priceless wildlife. Though Manuel Antonio National Park is the smallest park in the country, it is the most visited due its charming combination of rain forest, beaches, coral reefs and wild life.

Among the most outstanding are the raccoon, the coati, the agouti, two-toed sloth, three-toed sloth, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys and the Titi monkey, an endangered subspecies endemic to the park.

You can also see bird species such as Toucans, pelicans, tanagers, ospreys, kingfishers and the yellow crowned night heron. It is also possible to see iguanas, lizards, snakes and countless varieties of insects. These are just some of the features of the reserve that make visiting Manuel Antonio National Park an unforgettable experience.

Transportation from your hotel to the park (round trip), entrance fee to the park, nature interpreter, professional spotting scope, lunch and drinks after the tour.

  • US$ 45 per person (lunch included).
  • Private tours available - minimum two people.

  • Our special price of $20 per person is for people who want to drive their own car to the park entrance so they can stay as long as they want for enjoying the beaches inside the park. But this price does not includes: entrance fee $10/pp, transportation and lunch.

What to bring

Sunscreen, bug repellent, bottle of water, camera, light clothes, bathing suit and towel if planning to stay on the beaches of the Park after the tour.

Important

  • The ticket is not good to re-entry in case if you leave the park.
  • There is not food service inside the park.
  • The park is closed on Mondays.
